Sizing Guide: This shoe fits larger than standard Yuketen moccasin footwear. It is strongly recommended that you wear thick socks with your standard Yuketen Moccasin footwear size or purchase the shoe one half-size smaller than the size you normally wear in standard Yuketen moccasin footwear.

The bit loafer style is one of the classic models made famous by Italian designer footwear. Never satisfied with mainstream replication, Yuketen introduces the updated Bit Loafer, combining the elegance of a loafer upper with the broad foundation of a genuine moccasin.

 Each pair of Yuketen’s genuine moccasin-construction footwear is handcrafted in our factory in Maine, USA. The shoes benefit from their construction using only the best components and materials such as the Horween’s rich and durable Latigo leather with western floral embossing. The Latigo leather is a combination tan that blends the durability of a chrome tan base with a heavy veg re-tan to create an unfinished, natural look that’s excellent for molding. The attractive embossed design on this leather is inspired by western motif imagery found on hand-tooled leather saddlery.

To closely mirror the incongruence of the human foot and deliver a molded fit, the upper leathers are hand-sewn and hand-lasted on Yuketen’s proprietary last. In addition, the base of the vamp has been cinched to further ensure an integumentary fit.

Full vegetable-tanned leather insoles, tucks with steel shank, memory foam and arch cushion reinforcements increase fitting in the arch and heel as well as lessen foot fatigue by forming a stable bridge between the heel and ball of the owner's foot which causes weight to be distributed more evenly across the foot. This results in reduced foot fatigue and improved comfort. Yuketen’s signature tucks are made from 100% vegetable-tanned leather and will naturally accommodate the distinct shape of the wearer.

The shoe’s upper sits atop a Yuketen’s original camp sole made out of 100% rubber mixed with cork chip, which reminiscent of 1960’s work boot style. The outsole is sewn to the vamp leather, allowing the shoes to be resoled for years of prolonged wear.
