Each sandal is entirely hand-cut and hand-constructed from select cuts of softly tanned distressed hairy cow suede from Opera leather tanned in Toscana, Italy who have been specializing in making suede and flesh-out leather since the 70s. Each piece of suede that is used on the Sal 1 is hand-selected and hand-lasted one by one to make sure that only the good part of the skin is used and to make use of the full material. The full leather lining offers more comfort and durability.

The three-dimensional footbed constructed with the toe bar, arch support and heel cup increases fitting in the arch and heel as well as lessens foot fatigue. It also helps your weight be distributed more evenly across the foot and accommodate the distinct foot shape of the wearer. Two layers of the jute and plantation crepe unit sole provides superior shock absorption and an incredibly soft and slip-resistant tread.
