The Half Dome 2000 is entirely handcut and benchmade in Mexico onto 1930’s American modified lasts for the ideal union of comfort and style. The modified lasts the shoes’ are built upon were originally designed to stop the wearer from over-pronating, helping them to correct their gait and develop a better, healthier walking motion. As such, the modified lasts provide exceptional arch support to the structure of the foot.

The fundamental components for this style are combination of rich and malleable full grain cow leather and suede uppers lined with soft-tanned cow leather for added comfort and a foundation that is constructed of a combination of vegetable-tanned leather midsoles and the genuine lug sole, which boasts pronounced lug tread pattern with a clean outsole border that is both elegant in appearance yet also functionally rugged and useful in the outdoors.
